can you create a client via root > clients > new client?

I can indeed create and delete clients with no issues at all.

Can you create invoices for clients you’ve created this way?  I’ll look around, but you’re the first to report this, and I can’t recreate.  Not saying you haven’t found something, only that I don’t have it on my setup.

Alright so I can create invoices for today and forward, but when I attempt to create an invoice for work I did in the past, BI will throw that error at me.

For instance,

I did the following to get the error…

Create a new invoice...and back date it to 24-April-2008

Quantity Work Description
Quantity = 4 Virus Removal $0.00
Quantity = 4 *Diagnostic Fee $60.00
Quantity = 4 Virus Removal Fee $90.00

When I click create invoice I get the error.

Now, I did create a test invoice using today’s date and it worked with no issues.

Is this because I am leaving one of the entries at $0.00?

I just tried creating the same invoice with today’s date and I still get that error.

OK, I can recreate.  I’ll get on it.  Apologies.

I have updated to .8.6 with no issues, but I am unable to login now.  I attempted to have my password sent to my e-mail, but it does not send anything to my e-mail.  I have tried several e-mail addresses that are all active and nothing.  Could you help me out with this?

yep.  Check out the userguide.  There is tips for email and also for changing the admin password.
