i have posted this earlier ,but no responce from anybody.

kindly help me…

I was trying to install a new version 089,  but i am getting this as error:


A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice

Message: Undefined property: Install::$validation

Filename: controllers/install.php

Line Number: 38

Fatal error: Call to a member function set_rules() on a non-object in C:\wamp\www\bambooinvoice\bamboo_system_files\application\controllers\install.php on line 38

I notice you have other posts asking how to change the appearance of invoices, so I assume you did have it working before; what happened?

Could you try re-downloading the files please - file corruption is about the only thing I can think of that would explain that.

If you are careful with the information you enter, you could probably simply delete that line entirely and install.

I notice this is running off a local windows box - do you have access to a professionally hosted environment?

Firstly thanks for your quick reply. I double checked i tried on the professionally hosted environment. Guess what!
